When you buy a laptop for your son or daughter, you naturally hope everything keeps working smoothly. But what if the device suddenly crashes after a few months – right in the middle of exam season? You don’t want hassle, long wait times or hidden costs. Just a fair solution.
You get a standard 2-year warranty
All laptops from Back in Use are thoroughly tested and refurbished by professionals. But even then, something can go wrong. That’s why every device comes with a 2-year warranty as standard. Something breaks? We’ll repair or replace it free of charge.

What should you do if there’s an issue?
Report the problem by email and preferably include a photo and short description.
Send an email to info@backinuse.be. Briefly describe the issue, optionally with a photo. We usually respond within 24 hours.
Will the laptop be picked up or do you have to ship it yourself?
If the issue is covered under warranty, we’ll cover the cost. We’ll email you the return label, so you can attach it to your package and drop it off at your nearest post point.
What if the device falls or gets wet?
Damage from accidents like this isn’t covered under warranty, but we’ll work with you to find a solution. In many cases, we can offer repairs at a fair price.
Can I return the device if there are issues within the first few days?
Yes. You have a 14-day return window – even if something goes wrong.
Something not right just after purchase? You can return your laptop within 14 days. The right of withdrawal only applies if the product has not been used after delivery. You’ll find more details on our returns page.
And what about the battery?
Each battery is tested. If it doesn’t meet our standards, we replace it before sale.
We never deliver a device with a worn-out battery. Every device is tested in advance using a discharge test. If the battery’s capacity is below 70%, we replace it. Still facing issues? We’ll help find a suitable solution together.
What if my child really needs the laptop and can’t wait?
Let us know – we’ll think with you. We understand that schoolwork can’t wait. Mention in your email that it’s urgent, and we’ll do our best to speed things up.
